I offered to make the table decorations for my beautiful cousin Grace's bridal shower this weekend.  I pondered for a while what would look best, and came back around to the petite purse die.  Since her colors are red & gold with pink accents, here's what I came up with! I used the Petite Purse die (pg. 233) and a similar texture folder to what I used here would be Beautifully Baroque (pg. 227). Cardstock is Real Red & Pink Pirouette. Champagne Glimmer Paper (pg. 193) Pearl Basic Jewels (pg. 209) The small flower is from the Boho Blossoms punch (pg. 219)

I am blessed to have many wonderful friends and family who helped us welcome our little bundle of joy into the world.......thus, I needed thank you cards to express our gratitude!  I made these very simple with a thank you message inside. I used Stampin' Up! melon mambo paper and ink for the baby stroller and Staz-On black for the "thanks".   Like I said, very simple but totally cute!! I have some pretty amazing friends and family.  One of those friends is my Stampin' Up! Upline and mentor, Dena Rekow.  She wasn't able to come to my baby shower, but she gave me (and Baby Wilken) a gift at our last downline meeting. Not only are these little rompers SUPER ADORABLE, but the way she packaged them is pretty darn cute!  (And we all know that great presentation can take the ordinary to extraordinary!!) Dena used the Creped Filter Paper (129393) for the flower and colored it with Calypso Coral to dye the paper.  The tag is created using the Scalloped Tag Topper Punch (133324).  The rompers are individually packaged in Tag a Bag Gift Boxes (130927).  Ribbon is 3/4" Chevron Ribbon in Calypso Coral (130018). Thought I would start this blog off with a recent project!  Grandma Wilken asked if I could make some cards or postcards with a saying that she likes. Here's what I came up with!! I used Sahara Sand paper and Pumpkin Pie , Old Olive , and Crushed Curry ink. (Pages 142-149 of the 2013-2014 Idea Book & Catalog) The stamp set is Fabulous Florets (Wood 128574, Clear 123027)
